The patriarch of Austin Family Farm, Glenn, has a degree in agriculture and has watched many changes in the industry. While many commercial farms continue to apply more and more chemicals to their soils and crops, he knew there were better ways. Glenn’s experience in soils, sustainable agriculture and responsible land management give him the passion needed to grow with a vision toward the next generations.
Glenn is a 7th generation farmer who has gone full circle—from sustainable to conventional and back to sustainable farming. His hope is for many generations to continue growing the high-quality fruit and vegetables that Austin Family Farm is known for.
